Kinimos is a mobile application designed to help you stay close to the people who matter most in your life. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Kinimos app.

2. Data we collect

We collect no personal data. All information you enter into Kinimos — contact names, relationship notes, interaction history, and preferences — is stored locally on your device.

This means:

• Your data never leaves your device
• We have no access to your contacts or relationship information
• There are no user accounts or profile data held by us
• We do not use analytics tools that track your behaviour in the app

3. Data we do not collect

To be explicit, Kinimos does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• The names or details of people you add to the app
• Your location
• Usage data or analytics
• Device identifiers
• Any information from your phone's contacts, calendar, or other apps

4. Third-party services

Kinimos does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data services. We do not share any data with any third parties because we do not collect any data to share.

If you download Kinimos from the App Store or Google Play, Apple and Google's own privacy policies will apply to that transaction. We encourage you to review their policies separately.

5. Notifications

Kinimos may request permission to send you local notifications (nudges and reminders). These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are not sent from our servers. We do not use push notification infrastructure that would require sending your device token to our systems.

6. Data deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all Kinimos data at any time simply by uninstalling the app. There is no account to delete and no server-side data to request removal of.

7. Children's privacy

Kinimos is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. As we collect no personal data from any users, this applies equally to all age groups.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will notify users of any material changes through the app itself. As our core commitment — collecting no data — is fundamental to what Kinimos is, we do not anticipate significant changes to this policy.
